Indian Head Massage has its origins in Ayurveda, a traditional system of medicine developed in India more than 3,000 years ago. For generations, it’s been practised within families as part of everyday care, to support good health and wellbeing.
Unlike many massage therapies, this type of treatment takes place with clients seated and fully clothed, focusing on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp, and face. This makes it accessible, comfortable, and particularly supportive for people who may feel overwhelmed or unsure about massage.
It can help calm the nervous system, ease headaches and muscle tension, improves sleep and mental clarity, supports emotional wellbeing and nourishes the scalp and hair.
Katie is hosting FREE taster sessions on Sunday 10 May between 9.30 and 11.30am, where you can:
• Try Indian Head Massage in a relaxed, welcoming setting • Learn more about how it works • Take some time out to pause, reset, and reconnect
Please arrive for 9.30am, treatment slots will be allocated upon arrival. Refreshments will be available.
