Traditional Chinese Medicine from a Doctor-led team

Ellie Springs back to massage!

Spring is finally here! Watch that bitter wind though. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) pathogens ( viruses, bacteria etc.) are driven in by the wind, into vulnerable areas such as the nose, ears, back of neck and lower back.  Our tendons and ligaments are prone to tightness in early spring so stretch, move the body gently, and start to make plans for new growth.
Plant some seeds in your garden or maybe even in your mind; cultivate some new ideas that will serve you in the coming months.
Ellie is back from her travels this week. We have missed her, and so have our tight bodies!
Ellie works on a Monday and Wednesday and has just a few slots left in April.
Enjoy this transition as we emerge from the depths of winter to a lighter, more active season. Our foods should change to greener, fresher produce now to match the change outside.
We look forward to seeing you soon in the clinic. Health maintenance is such an important concept to nurture as we expect a lot from life and our bodies.
Best wishes
from Carolyn and The Cycles of Change Team.
